6 Weeks Already!
We can hardly believe it has been six weeks already. Leah has been a true joy in our lives. She sleeps about 2-4 hours at a time and is generally content during her rather brief awake times. As new parents we’ve gotten accustomed to changing diapers, doing everything with one arm, singing her to sleep, dealing with baby cries, sleeping for only a few hours at a time and watching the daily progression of little Leah. Leah is now over 9 lbs and seems to be growing bigger right before our eyes. We are blessed to have a beautiful healthy baby and we are looking forward to watching her as she grows.

It’s a Girl!
Leah Beverley Schmidt was born Sunday, January 25th, 2009 at 3:05am at the Peter Lougheed Hospital, Calgary, Alberta. She weighed 6 pounds 15 ounces and was a length of 48 cm. We thank God for her safe arrival and her precious life, truly an incredible miracle and blessing in our lives. Thank you for all your prayers and support!
